Year−end report 2020

Overview

Operating income in the fourth quarter was the strongest for a single quarter since PostNord was formed in 2009. The transformation program continued to perform well and combined with high parcel volumes to produce an improvement in income. E-commerce rose to new record levels as a result of the Corona pandemic, while letter volumes continued to decline as a result of the ongoing trend of digitalization. Overall, net sales rose by 11 percent like-for-like. Delivery quality in the mail business remained high, whereas delivery quality in the parcels business was under pressure from very high volumes.
