PostNord launches web series about our climate transition

PostNord is launching a new web series, "Fossil-free by 2030," as part of our commitment to leading sustainable logistics. This seven-part series offers an inside look at our initiatives aimed at achieving fossil-free transport and operations by 2030, while also highlighting the challenges and opportunities of the climate transition.

The "Fossil-free by 2030" series explores various aspects of climate adaptation in transport and logistics, from electrification and biofuels to collaborations with transport suppliers. Alongside leaders and specialists from PostNord, we also hear from external experts, researchers, and industry representatives who share their insights on achieving more sustainable transport and meeting climate goals.

"As a leading player in logistics in the Nordic region, it is natural for us to take the lead in the industry's climate transition. It's also about ensuring our relevance and competitiveness. PostNord's customers have ambitious climate targets and are counting on us to achieve them”, says Amanda Jackson, Head of Group Sustainability.

To reach fossil-free by 2030, PostNord must convert our fleet of over 10,000 vehicles to biofuels and electric power. Additionally, since PostNord outsources transports, more than half of the company's total climate impact comes from purchased transports. This means that transport suppliers also need to make changes.

"Collaboration with transport providers and other stakeholders is critical to our joint success”, says Amanda Jackson.
