Phishing Tips

Online scammers often send fake delivery messages pretending to be from PostNord or other logistics companies, especially during busy shopping periods like holidays and sales. It can be hard to tell if a message is real or a scam.

To protect yourself as a consumers, use PostNord's app to track your parcels and reduce the risk of fraud. If you are unsure about the message, contact PostNord’s customer service. Being "suspicious" is often the best protection. PostNord's tips to avoid fraud traps:

Be cautious with emails and text messages that seem to come from PostNord. We rarely send messages with payment links, except for goods from outside the EU.

Always check the link’s destination before clicking. If unsure, please contact our customer service for confirmation.


Don’t click on unknown links, and don’t open unknown attachments.

Don't reply to suspected scam messages. If you’re not expecting a package from abroad and get a suspicious message, it’s most likely a scam.

Be critical of what you see: check the logo, typos, strange wording, and the sender's email address to verify the message.

If an offer seems too good to be true, like free electronics, it's probably a scam.

Never share personal information like passwords, card numbers or BankID details.

If you think you’ve been scammed, act immediately: block your bank card, change your password, and contact the police.

Product names have strange or incorrect translations.

Prices are unusually low.

No contact information , like address or phone number.
